Her Best Friends Secret is a book about 4 women, Amanda, Jess, Emily and Lolly. They were best friends at school and they lost touch, they meet up again 20 years later.
All of the women are very different and and life has dealt them very different cards. They all have their own issues and problems however they may not always let them show.
Can a meet up after so long mean they can pick up where they left off 20 years ago? Will they still get on? How different will they be?
The book is easy to get into, each short chapter is a different character and I enjoy books written in this style as it keeps you wanting to read just one more chapter, it’s gripping and makes me want to know what happens next.
The book is about relationships, friendship, life, love, work, families and women. How friends can stick together through thick and thin regardless of what has happened and what others may think.
I loved this book it had likeable characters and was easy to read and told told a great story of 4 very strong but very different women and after all going down different paths are they really that different from the teenagers they used to be. This was the first book by Anna Mansell I have read but it certainly won’t be the last. 5*

Author Bio:
Anna had a brush with 'fame' as a magician's assistant back in 1977. She later decided that being sawn in half by her magical performing father, at barely 6 months old, was too submissive a role. She vowed to channel the trauma in to something much more pro-actively creative. Having failed at acting, singing and professional murder mystery parties (she was ALWAYs the one to die!), she fell to something much more solitary: writing. She has written three novels, published by Bookouture, her fourth - HER BEST FRIEND'S SECRET - comes out on April 1st, 2019.
